Upon return from the Christmas break our boys hockey teams started strong with many wins against schools such as Seaford and Hurst. Including a 5-0 win by the U11Es in our first week back and a 7-0 win for the U11Cs respectively. This winning steak continued throughout the term with the U11As recently winning the Plate Competition at the IAPS National Finals at Repton School- a triumphant achievement for all their hard work.
We had many firsts across this Netball term, with the U11As participating in their first tournament at Lancing, finishing a fantastic 4th place. Lower down the school our U8/9s had their first taste of 7-a-side netball against Holmewood and Windlesham House. They took to the challenge brilliantly and we look forward to seeing their skills develop into next year. The enthusiasm surrounding netball this year is evident with a record number of girls attending netball club this term- well done Miss Spark!
The term will draw to a close with our annual house hockey and netball events. This is a great opportunity for all the pupils to showcase all they have learnt in the term.
