Full boarding
Every weekend there are between 150 – 200 boarders on our 240-acre West Sussex campus.
As well as enjoying our fantastic sports facilities on-site, borders have a wealth of activities to enjoy each Saturday and Sunday – you can read more about our weekend activities below.
Weekly boarding
Weekly boarding at our school combines the beauty and space of the West Sussex countryside with easy access to London, major airports and national transport links, making travel simple for pupils and families.
For families who live in London, we offer an escorted train to Clapham Junction on Friday afternoons (a 40 minute journey) and the option of a returning coach on Monday morning from Clapham Common.
Flexi-boarding
More and more of our day pupils choose to flexi-board, which allows them to spend three nights at school every week. They have their own designated bed and area in a dorm, where they can leave their possessions all week.
Every boarder lives in one of our modern and purpose-designed boarding houses, which become their ‘home from home’.
Flexi-boarding at Ardingly often benefits parents who have busy work lives, travel commitments, or who want their child to try boarding gradually.
