At Ardingly College, we believe every pupil has unique strengths, talents and ways of learning. Our Learning Support department provides personalised academic support to ensure that all pupils, including those with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) and specific learning difficulties (SpLD), can access the curriculum confidently and fulfil their potential.
We are committed to creating an inclusive learning environment where every student is supported to make strong academic progress, develop independence and thrive both inside and outside the classroom. Working closely with teachers, tutors and families, our Learning Support team identifies individual needs and implements tailored strategies that help pupils succeed academically, socially and emotionally.
As a co-educational boarding and day school, Ardingly offers a responsive and personalised approach to learning support, ensuring that every pupil feels valued, understood and fully equipped to engage in all aspects of school life.
Our Approach

Our specialist Learning Support teachers are experienced in working with a wide range of learning profiles and use evidence-based methods to strengthen core skills. We ensure pupils receive the right level of help at the right time, while still encouraging independence and ambition.
