One of the features that sets Ardingly College apart from many independent boarding and day schools in West Sussex is the breadth of academic choice available in the Sixth Form. Students can choose between A Levels, a combination of A Levels and BTECs, or the internationally recognised IB (International Baccalaureate) Diploma Programme, allowing them to follow the pathway that best suits their strengths, interests and future aspirations.
Around two-thirds of Ardingly Sixth Form students choose A Levels or a blended A Level and BTEC pathway, while around a third study the IB Diploma. By offering both qualifications, Ardingly provides far greater flexibility than many Sixth Forms, ensuring that students are not required to fit a single academic model.
