Outstanding Sixth Form Results

The Class of 2026 achieved fantastic outcomes: our IB Diploma cohort achieved an average of 39.5 points, placing Ardingly comfortably among the top ten schools in the UK for the IB.

Particular congratulations are due to the 24 students who achieved three or more A*s-As at A-Levels, as well as to the 19 students who scored 40 or over in the IB Diploma.

  • 58% of exams were at the top two grades of A*-A, 7-6 or D*-D
  • 25% of exams were at the top A*, 7 or Distinction* grade

Record-breaking GCSE Results

Ardingly’s Year 11 students in 2025 achieved some fantastic GCSE results!  A remarkable 76% of all grades were awarded the top grades of 9-7 (the equivalent of the previous A* and A grades) and the average grade achieved by our students was 7.44, which is our highest ever for a non-Covid year.

Special congratulations are due to the nine students who achieved straight 9s, while over half (53%) of all grades were graded 9s or 8s.

Ardingly Named in Top 1% of UK Schools for Value Add

Ardingly is proud to have been named in the top 1% of schools nationally for student progress: with our students achieving, on average, well over a grade higher at GCSE, for every subject, than their baseline testing on entry predicted. Many congratulations to all our teachers and students on this exceptional achievement!
