“Given the academic excellence, strong pastoral support, plethora of opportunities and inclusive, holistic feel of the place, you’ll definitely wish you (or rather, your child) were here… It’s hard to imagine a child who wouldn’t thrive here.”

Talk Education's Environmental Achievement Award

Ardingly is proud to have won Talk Education’s Environmental Achievement Award! This is in recognition of our innovative Solar Car Project, the brainchild of Dr Andrew Spiers MBE, who has inspired a generation of students about the power of sustainable energy and enabled them to design, build and even race solar-powered vehicles. Most recently, students have been busy building a new off-road, solar-powered SUV with extendable solar panelled wings, which can be used where there is no charging infrastructure – making it ideal for the developing world, where it could be used to power a small school or operating theatre.

Good Schools Guide

“Often picked by parents as a particularly caring all-rounder, but this school is ambitious for its pupils and eager that they excel academically: they usually do.”
