At Ardingly, we want every individual student to achieve their full academic potential. We encourage all students to develop intellectual curiosity and critical thinking skills, not only through the curriculum but by engaging with the wide range of academic activities that extend beyond the classroom.

These include:

  • Offering a wide range of Academic Clubs and Societies
  • Participating in our Academic Lecture Series
  • Entering Academic Competitions, ranging from national Olympiads to Ardingly’s own
  • Academic Competitions
  • Undertaking Project Qualifications, which involve independent research projects such as the
  • Shell Individual Project (in Year 9), the Higher Project Qualification (HPQ) and Extended
  • Project Qualification (EPQ)
  • Participating in our full programme of educational trips and visits
