The 2024 IB Visual Artists students celebrated completion of their course on Thursday 14th March with an evening exhibition of creative, individual and intelligent artwork.
Cecilia G explored her passion for music, dance and the power these expressive mediums have had over her through her pieces whilst Ottavia D-F devised and made works linked to the range of five human senses. Both artists curated and displayed eleven major outcomes in the gallery, spanning skills such as plaster casting, photographic collage, screen print, sculpture and mixed media installations.
They also had their families fly in from Italy for the exhibition, along with their friends and teachers admiring their hard work whilst reading their artist rationales and individual artwork descriptions.
Congratulations to our IB pupils for their experimental, organised and adventurous approach to the entire IB course. Bravo to them both!
