After months of planning, training rides, gym sessions, and bike tuition, some pupils in the boys boarding and day houses embarked on an epic 270km journey to Paris.

The students got up bright and early to complete phase one of their journey, heading down to Newhaven to catch the 11:15 Ferry to Dieppe.

After arriving at Newhaven ahead of schedule, the Hilton and Mertens boys enjoyed the fresh air on the Ferry ride over, before navigating their way through Dieppe and then onto the picturesque town of Forges-les-Eaux! To the delight of the boys, dinner that evening was an all you can eat buffet!

On day two, the students and staff hit the ground running travelling 40km before lunch! They saw some beautiful scenes in the latter half of the day, travelling through Mantes-la-Jolie, where the students enjoyed some dinner in the town, with the Lebanese restaurant being a particular highlight.

On the final day, the boys got back in the saddle to make their way through the final 50km, successfully completing their journey to Paris later that day!

A huge well done to the whole group. It was certainly a challenge, and one they and we will remember for the rest of our lives!
