On the 16th – 19th May, Ardingly College celebrated its Cultural Diversity Week!
This was a chance to celebrate the rich tapestry of heritage, cultures and identities in our community and was testament to the power of exploring both our unique stories and the universal experiences which unite us.
From the joyous outpouring of colour, music, dance and cultural identity in the International Village Fete, to the evocative and thought-provoking Belonging Multimedia Installation in a transformed Crypt, and the deeply moving Storytelling Circle event featuring Refugee Tales, it was powerful to see students and staff across the College celebrate the beauty and significance of our stories and identities.
A particular highlight of the week was the flashmob during International Village Fête, showcasing a range of dances from around the world!
