Year 2 learn all about Dusty Miller and his role during WWII

Mr Hastings came to Year 2 today to help the children learn all about Dusty Miller and his amazing Land Army. Dusty Miller was a Maths Teacher at Ardingly from 1928 to the 1960’s and during WWII was responsible for working with the students to plant and grow a lot of vegetables to feed the students.

The Year 2 pupils were all engaged and excited to hear about his life.
