Two strong U11 teams made the lengthy journey to Ipswich for a comfortable night in the Premier Inn, prior to Race Day. The course was a single 2km loop around the beautiful yet hard and icy Woodbridge grounds.

The girls were up first in a field just shy of 100. Mae fought hard for a super top 20 place, closely followed by a brave Maisie. Millie, Poppy and Eloise flew at the end, coming in the top half of the field in 36th, 37th and 40th respectively. As a team, they came a very respectable 8th.The boys, like the girls had done 15 minutes previously, flew down the starting straight and hit the hill at a canter. Coming into the finish line, Rex won himself the Bronze medal, whilst a courageous Enzo took 23rd, with Rafe, Archie, Tomas and Tom in a blanket finish, in the top 40. It was such a tight competition and they finished 6th and yet were just a few places shy of the team medals
