On the 18th January, Ardingly students and staff participated in a hunger lunch, swapping their regular meal for soup, to raise money for the charity Planting for Hope Uganda.
The hunger lunch raised £650, a donation which will provide a direct contribution towards supporting the Kititi community via the supply of clothes, books, medicine, school facilities and food.
The vision of Planting for Hope Uganda is to enable the community of Kititi to develop a self-supporting and sustainable future by working in partnership with them and making education available for all.
