It has been a successful term for many of our Sixth Form Mathematicians. In the Senior Maths Challenge, 6 pupils gained a gold certificate, 15 silver and 34 bronze. On the back of these results many congratulations to Ethan C, Benz P, Mark W and George G who made it through to the British Maths Olympiad round and to Gustav R and Robin M who made it through to the Senior Kangaroo competition.
Also deserving of congratulations are the students who managed to unlock, and are currently working on completing, the final stage of this year’s national Ritangle maths competition. The competition involves problems set over the last two months, requiring a blend of mathematical ability, technology and logical problem solving to answer.
