Treasure and Trash was the 2022 theme set as a starting point for all enthusiastic artists for this year’s whole school art exhibition. Submissions came from students from the Pre-Prep right through to Sixth Form using a wide variety of mediums and interpretations. Many made use of genuine trash items, such as a stunning dress trimmed in empty contact lens cases and a vase of flowers made from old crisp packets. Around 100 works were submitted and curated for the annual private view on the 15th November in the main art galleries. The difficult decision of awarding prizes led to certificates of merit going to Mya Lake (L6), Isabelle Neethling (V), Finlay Mitchell (Yr7), Maisie Bodsworth (Yr6), Maisie Miles (Yr5), Gabrielle Bermingham (Yr4), Thea White (Yr3) and Maxwell Griffiths (Yr1).
