Bowles 2024 was a huge success and our Year 5 pupils were exemplary representatives of Ardingly College, encompassing all the Prep School values at every moment.
Pupils were: AdventuroUS at pushing themselves out of their comfort zones and trying new things; GeneroUS with their kindness to others and willingness to encourage their teammates; IngenioUS at finding new ways to communicate and collaborate; CurioUS at discovering what they are truly capable of.✨
Activities included raft building and racing, high ropes, Jacobs ladder, bushcraft, rock climbing, orienteering, zip wire and campfire stories with cooking marshmallows! The food was home cooked and hearty, with pupils expected to fairly serve each other on their tables. And for many pupils this was their first experience of staying away from home, which they grasped with ambition, responsibility and maturity.
We were exceptionally proud of what our Year 5 pupils achieved and look forward to them bringing their new learnt skills and behaviours into the classroom and future endeavors.
