UK Sixth Form Admissions
Admission into the Sixth Form is via written assessments in English, Mathematics and Science if relevant and Interview with an academic member of staff. We also require a school report and reference from the student’s previous school. An assessment day is held in November of the preceding year. Candidates will sit assessments and those who have not already done so will meet the Deputy Head of Academic, Head of Sixth Form or a member of the Senior Academic Team. Offers are made subject to candidates achieving the general entrance requirements.
GCSE grade requirements are reviewed annually and are confirmed to candidates in offer letters. They are also available on request in the Sixth Form Curriculum booklet.
If the candidate is not sitting GCSEs, an offer of a place will be based on the assessments, report, reference and interview.
