At Ardingly College, we recognise that every pupil is unique, with individual strengths, learning styles and areas where support may be required. Our Learning Support team plays an important role in ensuring that all pupils — including those with special educational needs or specific learning difficulties — can access our broad curriculum with confidence. We aim to help every student make strong progress, develop independence and feel fully supported within our caring boarding and day school community.
Our provision is designed to be inclusive, responsive and personalised. We work closely with teachers, tutors and families to understand each pupil’s needs and to provide tailored strategies that enable them to flourish academically and socially.
Our Approach
We provide support that is structured, compassionate and fully integrated into school life. Our specialist Learning Support teachers are experienced in working with a wide range of learning profiles and use evidence-based methods to strengthen core skills. We ensure pupils receive the right level of help at the right time, while still encouraging independence and ambition.
