We believe in the transformative power of philanthropy to shape Ardingly’s future and provide exceptional educational opportunities for current and future generations.

From its inception to the Ardingly community we know today, philanthropy has been at the heart of the College’s growth and success. Our Founder, Nathaniel Woodard, financed his new schools from donations and subscriptions, inspiring others with his vision for education.

Today, the generosity of our community continues to help us fund life changing bursaries, advance capital projects, maintain historic buildings, and invest in the best tools possible for young people to reach their full potential.

If you would like to be a part of Ardingly’s rich tradition of philanthropy by making a gift, or would simply like to learn more about giving to Ardingly College, please contact Elinor Wood, Development Director, on development@ardingly.com

Make a gift

Making a gift not only strengthens and supports the life of the College today but helps to secure its future for years to come. Supporters can be assured that their gift will be treated with the sensitivity, gratitude and care such generosity merits.

One off and regular gifts can be made online through the secure form below or you can download our gift form and send it to:

Support life-changing Bursaries

Bursaries open the door of opportunity to young people with the potential to thrive at the College.

The gift of education is life changing for the individual, but a generous bursary scheme also benefits the wider Ardingly community: all our students gain from being part of a supportive community that is inclusive, friendly and diverse.

Thanks to a substantial legacy from the estate of an Old Ardinian who attended the College during the 1940s, we have established an Endowment Fund, the annual income from which is used to fund life changing bursaries.

The Fund stands at £3 million, and with the support of our community, it is our ambition to treble this figure so that together we can change more lives.

To make a life changing bursary gift to the Endowment Fund or to learn more about bursary giving, please contact Elinor Wood, Development Director, on development@ardingly.com

Leave a Legacy

Making a gift to Ardingly College in your Will is an investment in future Ardinians. It is one of the simplest and most impactful gifts you can make and creates a permanent testimony to your affection for the College.

Simply tell your Solicitor or Will writer that you would like to remember Ardingly College (RCN: 1076456) in your Will. You can leave even 1% of your estate to Ardingly College so those closest to you receive 99%.

Gifts in Wills can help build the College’s Endowment Fund for life changing bursaries, opening the door of opportunity to young people with the potential to thrive at Ardingly.

If you would like to learn more about making a gift to Ardingly in your Will, please contact Elinor Wood, Development Director, on development@ardingly.com
