Join Ardingly Prep in Year 3 and Avoid 11+ Process

It is a huge privilege to be Head of Ardingly College Prep School. Our joy-filled Farmhouse site, where children join us in Year 3, is an inspiring, nurturing child-centred place – recently described by one reviewer as a “magical, self-contained space devoted to childhood” – but with all the outstanding facilities that come with being part of the adjoining Ardingly College campus. This enables us to provide an outstanding co-curricular offer and flexible wrap-around care for working parents from 7.15am until 6.30pm.

Almost every pupil from our Prep School will seamlessly transition into Ardingly College’s senior school at Year 7. This gives our families peace of mind and allows our pupils to avoid the stress of the 11+ process. It also enables a broad, enriching curriculum in Years 5 and 6, without the need to ‘teach to the test’, as at most other schools.

Instead, we can focus on ensuring that Ardingly Prep pupils receive the best possible education and preparation to thrive – both academically and personally – in their senior school and beyond.

Do come and see for yourselves by visiting our very special Prep School.
