Students work hard and play hard and are actively encouraged to take advantage of a busy social calendar. In addition students can socialise around campus and often meet up for a sporting activity in the Strength & Conditioning Centre, Sports Hall, on the tennis courts or simply for ball games on the playing fields. In addition, there are various inter-house competitions in which students are encouraged to participate for fun, regardless of ability.
Houses arrange their own activities and events, as well as fundraising for charities of their choice.
Saturday is the highlight of the week when boarding houses take it in turns to host a weekly evening event.
Trips take place on a Sunday; popular destinations include Thorpe Park, Bluewater and ten-pin bowling. Day students are also able to sign up to the weekend activities programme.
