Partnership with Parents

  • Communication. We encourage regular communication between parents and form tutors, who are available daily in person and by email. There are formal parents’ evenings and termly reports to keep abreast of progress, and a weekly newsletter is published.
  • Involvement. Family members are invited to the weekly Celebration Assembly and concerts, drama events, exhibitions and sport. Parents often form new friendships through socials organised by our Parents’ Association, ‘The Friends’.
  • Parental voice. Parent Forums enable discussions about all aspects of school life.
  • Hours to suit. To meet the needs of working parents, we offer wraparound care from 7 am to 7 pm and flexible boarding options. A Holiday Club runs during some weeks of the holidays.
