Outside the classroom
Clubs and Activities
The clubs and activities programme at Ardingly Prep forms an important part of the school day and every child is encouraged to participate. We have on offer an extensive range of club options, allowing the children to try something new or to enhance existing skills or interests. Fun, focused, informative or a combination of all three, each club varies in its approach. We value the children’s time inside the school gates and want them to make the most of every minute spent in our care. We hope, ultimately, this commitment to taking every opportunity to grow, develop and better oneself becomes an embedded characteristic in all our pupils.

Visits to local museums and other places of interest take place regularly, enhancing learning and supporting the academic curriculum. Pupils of Geography and Latin visit Pompeii, for instance; linguists go to France; musicians to Italy. No trip is compulsory, although most children take up the opportunity to go on the local excursions.
