Prep Interhouse Drama competition

Friday 16th October 2015, 3pm. The Prep school waits in anticipation in the Under. Can the Inter-house drama competition live up to the expectations of the 200 plus children who have been looking forward to this moment for weeks on end? Oh yes it can! The cheers were probably heard all over the school as each house put forward three finalists to perform on stage.
The title was “STAGE TO SCREEN”. The brief; to create a 3 minute sketch from any film, or films combined, and perform with costumes and props. We had titles such as Oz-Wonderland, Pepper Potter and Mocking Jay, Shrek-tanic and my particular favourite: the Wormenator Genesis! Each house put in a great effort and there were some most entertaining performances.
Many thanks go to our judges: Mr May (Head of Drama Senior School)  and Miss Connor Earl. They awarded first place to Bramber House with their winning performances of; Titanic

Potter, Pepper Potter and the Mocking Jay and Minions versus Star Wars. Mr May commented on the creativity and originality of the competitors and encouraged all the children to continue to be daring in their drama work. Well done to all the finalists that took part, it was a truly fun and enjoyable afternoon.
