Remembering a Year Ago
2020 got off to a great start as 19 pupils attended the Independent Schools Ski Championships. Ardingly came home with 1st in the Senior Team Giant Slalom, 3rd in the Senior Team Slalom and 3rd in the overall Senior Team
Lent Term is netball season at Ardingly College with each year group fielding numerous teams. We also invite talented young netballers to our Netball Masterclass.
The start of a busy social programme for the boarding community. Every weekend there is something to look forward to.
Not everyone has a lay in at the weekend. Some boarders choose to join the local Park run, but make it back in time for brunch. Many boarders pop on the shuttle bus to town and visit Sainsburys for supplies.
Our Basking Beastie Solar Car returned from the 3000km race across Australia. The Ardingly Ifield Solar Team, born as a collaboration between Ifield Community College and Ardingly College was awarded the TES Science, technology and engineering team of the year.
Training paid off as in horrendous conditions our Junior Boys became Sussex Cross Country Champions with 7 runners qualifying for regionals.
All the houses have kitchens and students enjoy cooking and sharing their delights with their housemates.
Girls football went from strength to strength last year. This was an excellent performance by the 1st XI girls against Charterhouse in the ISFA football cup.
Hard work deserves reward. The Fifth girls has a night out at the end of mock week.
