James and Josh braved the 13.5 deg. centigrade, murky waters both achieving PBs in their 1500m swim. Josh was 3rd out of the water in a time of 23 minutes 48 seconds which is a fantastic achievement.

Josh handed the timing relay chip to Dale, while James passed the baton to Mr Batchelder for the tough 40km bike ride. Mr Batchelder came in 3rd overall setting a new PB also.

James and Mr Batchelder ran the 10km together while Florence and Josh chased them not far behind. Florence set a new PB for the 10km in 47 minutes 51 seconds on the tricky, muddy course.

Josh, Dale and Florence positioned 14th overall while James and Mr Batchelder managed to podium finishing in 2nd. Both were amazing achievements considering over 180 relay teams took part in the event.

Joseph Martin competed in the 13-15 age category and came an outstanding third in his wave, 9th overall. He completed the 300m swim, 8km bike and 4km run in 54 minutes 5 seconds.

Old Ardinian brothers, Sam and Tom Wade took part individually in the Olympic triathlon  coming 2nd and 7th overall.

All of this would not have been possible without the support of the friends and family who came to spur them all on. A great day had by all.
