Green fingered boarding boys assist in transforming the gardens at Sunnydown School

For the second time this year, Mertens and Hilton boys joined forces and travelled to Sunnydown School for a day of gardening. With Sunnydown School in the process of reinvigorating their grounds it gave the boys an amazing chance to help out. Amongst a flurry of wheelbarrows and rakes, shovels and picks, Ardingly boys played their part in what is a huge project and one that we will be involved in again, for certain! Final thanks must go to Sunnydown School for being amazing hosts; with endless bacon sandwiches, a delicious lunch and a first class game of football to finish the day!
