England Youth Fencing Championships 2018

This year several Prep School fencers entered the England Youth Championships, bringing together the best young fencers from all over England. Monty Blockley, Amelia Ward, Connie Penlington and Keira Donnelly-Sallows all fenced incredibly well with top results coming from Monty in the U11 boys’ foil (9^th) and Keira in the U11 girls’ sabre. This was Keira’s second sabre competition and she came away with Ardingly’s first ever medal at a national finals, finishing in 3^rd place. It was a superb set of results from all of the fencers at such a high level of competition.
