Cricket at Ardingly College

Here at Ardingly we run a very successful cricket programme from year 3 in the Prep School right up to year 13 in the Senior School.

Ardingly has produced many successful cricketers over the years with some going on to forge professional careers in the game. Most recent ex pupils include, Tom Clark (left 2019) who has recently signed a professional contract with Sussex CCC and represented England u19s at the world cup out in South Africa. Abi Sakanade, (left 2013) represented Sussex CCC from 2016-2019 as well as being a member on the England u19 squad. Ben Brown (left 2007) Ben is Sussex CCC Club Captain and has represented the club since 2007 when he made his First Class debut the same year he left school.

The cricket programme is tailored to help cricketers develop and progress based on their needs. Strong Links with Sussex through director of Cricket Keith Wright has created a clear pathway from Ardingly to Hove.
