Ardingly College has helped convert an old double decker bus into a mobile science laboratory to take to local primary schools. This is an exciting opportunity for students to design and deliver their own fun and engaging activities to inspire young minds!

Solar Car Diploma

We have building solar cars for over a decade to educate students on sustainable transport solutions. In fact we own the only road registered solar car in the UK. Our new project is to continue to build the part completed solar utility vehicle and market this to sponsors. Hopefully to raise sufficient funds to ship this car to Kenya for extensive trials.

Design for a better world (Practical Action competition)

Develop designs for products and/or systems that could address one of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, including climate change, poverty and lack of global access to basic services such as clean water and energy. Ardingly Mentoring Programme (Monday)

For LVI (by invitation). Develop communication and leadership skills as part of a two term programme to give back to the school community and help Lower School students overcome difficulties and obstacles in their school lives. A four week training course is followed by weekly lunchtime meetings in which you will help a young person succeed in areas of difficulty.
