Chemistry Top of the Bench Competition

Ardingly entered the Royal Society of Chemistry Top of the Bench competition this term, this is a national competition, arranged in regions with the winner of each regional round going on to the final.  

Round one consists of a practical task, which combines the need for skill in using specialist laboratory apparatus and a sound understanding of chemical principles. This is immediately followed by a written exam paper.  

The Ardingly team were awarded 3rd place, which is a great result and fantastic work from the talented Ardingly pupils who took part: Emily Whitton, Daniel Jessep, Darcy Walker-Lee and Layla Leschinski.
