Biology Field Trip to Dale, Pembrokeshire, June 2016

Biology Trip to Dale35 biologists travelled to the stunning Pembrokeshire coast for our annual four day field trip. The bright sunshine had everyone in high spirits when we arrived at the pretty coastal village of Dale at the heart of the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park.
Famed for its abundance of wildlife, this part of the world is unique in offering the triple SSSI Gann Saltmarsh for our succession studies, Skomer Island a unique conservation case study, and the Rocky Shore ecosystems of the coastline. Students carried out group work and independent projects of their own choosing under the expert tutelage of the Field Studies Council specialists at Dale Fort.
