Art trips Galore!

The 5th visited London on 29th September, going into the excellent 'World goes Pop' show at Tate Modern then hopping on the Thames Clipper boat up river to Tate Britain where we studied the range of art from Turner right through to Emin in the beautiful light space.
The 6th form took advantage of galleries closer to home on 2nd October, looking at the exciting Pallant House collection in Chichester, the amazing Cathedral and then the unique and incredibly inspirational Cass Sculpture Park.
The students found the curatorship, scale, close study and experience of seeing art first hand invaluable, and inclusion of their experiences in their sketchbooks and personal work always adds value and understanding to their submissions in May/June.
