Ardingly College delight as Under 15 footballers become County Champions

In a week of incredible comebacks as witnessed in the Champions League, Ardingly College have produced their very own miraculous recovery!

In a game against William Parker School Academy, the Under 15 boys were 2-0 up, they then went 4-2 down only to come back and win 5-4 in the dying moments, crowning them Sussex FA Cup County Champions. 

Special mention goes to Timi Esan, who was voted player of the match by the organisers, scoring a hat-trick to secure the win.  Jonas Naether scored the other two goals.

Ross Millard, Director of Sport at Ardingly College, expressed his delight at becoming County Champions:The boys showed fantastic resilience and character. We’re all very proud of them.

The game was played at the Sussex FA’s headquarters in Lancing on Wednesday 8th May.
