I am a fundraising professional with experience across arts and education. During my time with the London Mozart Players and Fairfield Halls, I organised a major donor dinner at Buckingham Palace, secured funding for a theatre project tackling knife crime and won Heritage Lottery Funding for an archive and oral history project. The life of a fundraiser is nothing if not varied! I joined Trinity School in 2016 and was instrumental in creating a culture of philanthropy in a school with no tradition of asking for support. Education is transformative and as a fundraiser I find that inspiring and motivating. I live in Burgess Hill with my husband and two young children, Annabel (4) and Jonathan (2). I am delighted to be part of the team at Ardingly and look forward to getting to know as many Old Ardinians as possible in the coming months.
My family relocated from Sydney to the UK in July 2018. Prior to jumping the pond, I held senior roles in the Advancement teams for universities, including the University of Sydney (home of Australia’s only university fundraising campaign to reach AUD$1bn) and University of Technology Sydney. I have lived in both Japan (I’m a former Senior School Japanese language teacher) and China (where our son Felix was born) and really enjoy travel, experiencing new cultures and all of the lost in translation moments that inevitably follow. I look forward to meeting many members of our Old Ardinian community over coming months, learning about your Ardingly experience and listening to your thoughts as we continue to keep you involved in the life of the College.
I am also very interested in receiving your inclusions for our next edition of The Ardinian
