Agents
At Ardingly College we are happy to accept referrals from educational agencies/consultants who have an Agency and Data Sharing Agreement with us.
We are happy to accept international students who have a strong academic profile. It is imperative they have an excellent command of English in order to access and cope linguistically with the rigours of the curriculum. As a guide, we require an IELTS score of 6.5 or above. We can provide some EAL tuition, for which there is an additional charge.
When referring a student, in the first instance we require a copy of the signed parental referral form, as well as copies of the candidate’s two most recent grade reports and a personal statement.
The handwritten personal statement should include:-
- School career to date;
- Details of any sports, music or art activities either within school or in own time;
- Aspirations and expectations for future career.
As a Church of England school, we are happy to accept those of other faiths and denominations. All our pupils must attend Chapel services, we do not have an exemption policy.
We are only able to accommodate children during term-time; all our pupils go home to their parents or guardians in the UK during school holidays and half-term breaks. All overseas pupils are required to have a UK-based guardian whilst they are studying at Ardingly College. We do not undertake guardianship ourselves.

The Director of Admissions and the Registrar attend the annual BBSW Conference in November and look forward to meeting agents at this event. We pay commission on the first year’s basic fees, in termly instalments, after we have received payment of the fees.
