1858 Society
At Ardingly we pride ourselves in offering a rich academic, sporting, cultural and social environment for boys and girls so that each child has the opportunity to develop the skills and qualities necessary for the next stage of their lives. The College is thriving and pupil numbers are higher than they have ever been, as more and more parents become aware of the excellence and breadth of opportunity we offer their children. Although we are successful, we are not complacent and continuous improvement is essential.
For this we need your help and support.
Legacies make an enormous difference to our sustainability, cushioning us against the massive expense of maintaining our historic buildings and providing a much needed capital injection never possible from school fee surpluses.
In addition to funding capital projects, the gift of a legacy can also help build up the College’s endowment fund for bursaries.
We strive to follow Nathaniel Woodard’s ethos of providing a good and complete education for the boys and girls at affordable prices, by offering bursaries to talented pupils whose families could not otherwise afford the fees.
Your Will is an excellent way to provide for the people who are important to you, to help causes you support and to acknowledge the influences that have shaped your life.
The 1858 Society has been established to facilitate bequests to the College and to recognise and thank those who signal their wish to make a legacy pledge to the College.
Regardless of the amount pledged, all those including Ardingly College in their Will, will be invited to an annual lunch to thank them for their generous support.
