Moderation and results

Our SATs assessments were moderated by Bishop Grosseteste in May/June 2007.  They found our assessments to be based on 'sound judgement with a clear understanding of the requirements'. 

Although we have no selective process at Ardingly Pre-Preparatory School our children have once again achieved excellent results. 

Level 2C is below average level of attainment.

Level 2B is an average level of attainment.

Level 2A is above average.

Level 3 is above the level expected for this age group. 

Level 4 is quite exceptional and is only usually achieved in Key Stage 2.

This year we have also had the highest level of attainment ever when one of our pupils achieved Level 4 in all assessed subjects (apart from speaking and listening).
