Dr Peter Vardy from Heythrop College came to Ardingly in December to give an excellent talk on “Becoming Fully Human: Sex, Genetics and Human Potential”. This was a most informative and interesting talk during which Dr Vardy covered the use of genetics, the culture of sex over the ages and he linked this together with varying views on the matter, including religion. A large number of questions were asked by students which were not prepared before which shows how Dr Vardy's talk interested the student body and lead on to a good debate afterwards.
