The Aesculapian Society
The Aesculapian Society meets every week and is open to all years. During meetings we discuss all aspects of medical related science and support students who plan on studying medical related degrees at university. Support comes in the form of preparation for aptitude tests e.g. UKCAT, BMAT and interview technique as well as staying abreast of topical issues. The society also welcomes external speakers. So far we have had talks from Dr Rupert Ricks and Dr Eroshini Seneviratne and former Ardingly pupil, Rosa Gallie, now a medical student at Queens Mary University London. We have had visits to Imperial University Medical School and the X-ray, CT, and MRI scanners at Queen Alexander Hospital.
