Netball Report for the end of the Lent Term 2010
Netball
the U15A VII ended their season on a high, coming second out of 8 schools in the WSGPEA tournament. We were unfortunate to lose to Burgess Hill in the first game - they went on to win all of their games and were, therefore, the eventual winners.
Ardingly played some fantastic netball against most of the local schools - many with several good club players in their teams. The team represented the school well, and were very eager and focused in what was a non-stop afternoon: 8 matches in an hour and a half!
We beat Imberhorne, Warden Park, and Oakmeeds and in a very close game, drew to Sackville School 4-4. Our most impressive victories were the 8-0 win over Oathall and a 12-0 win over St Paul's. In a 10 minute game, that meant we were scoring at a rate of over one goal each minute.
