Music at Ardingly
Music is a key element of education at Ardingly College and we maintain a proud and flourishing tradition of musical excellence. More than 400 instrumental lessons are taught each week by 30 outstanding specialist musicians, and academic music lessons are offered in all years. Generous Music Scholarships are available and for the scholar there are many opportunities to perform at a high level.

A Standing Ovation for our Director of Music, Robert Costin
Our Director of Music, Robert Costin, earned a standing ovation in the world-famous Washington National Cathedral in January. His performance of organ works by Bach, Franck, Howells and Guilmant was described as a ‘great recital’.
