Charity & Service
"No man makes a greater mistake than he who does nothing because he could only do a little"
Edmund Burke c. 1796
Under the Woodard Ethos, the College encourages and supports students and staff to get involved in all kinds of voluntary and charity activities. Whether it is through the Creativity, Action, Service Programme, being a Prefect or House Sacristan, Duke of Edinburgh, Combined Cadet Force, helping in the library, the Gateway Club, Charity Focus Group, sponsored activities and challenges, Children in Need, The Gambia or Kenya projects all our lives are enriched through new experiences and the opportunity to serve in local and global contexts.
Our 'CAS' - Community, Action & Service Programme
