Admission into Year 9 is via written assessments in English, Mathematics and Verbal Reasoning and satisfactory results at Common Entrance. We also require a report and reference from the pupil's previous school. The Headmaster likes to interview prospective pupils if practical.

Admission into the Sixth form is via written assessments in English, Mathematics and Verbal Reasoning. Entry is also subject to the candidate gaining six or more grade B passes at GCSE. If the candidate is not sitting GCSEs in his/her current school, an offer of a place will be based on the assessments, report, interview and predicted grades.
